Information
Fischer & Wieser Specialty Foods is proud to announce that President, CEO, and visionary Case D. Fischer will be inducted into the Specialty Food Association (SFA) Hall of Fame during the 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City. This prestigious honor recognizes his lifetime contributions to the specialty food industry and his enduring impact as an entrepreneur, innovator, and leader.
Case’s journey began in 1979, working alongside mentor Mark Wieser on the Wieser family peach orchard in Fredericksburg, Texas. There, he learned every aspect of the business—from growing fruit and crafting jams and sauces to serving customers at the family’s roadside stand. Those early experiences sparked a passion for food, farming, and innovation that would shape his career.
Under Case’s leadership, a small farmstand evolved into Fischer & Wieser Specialty Foods, an internationally recognized company known for creativity, quality, and authentic flavor. The launch of The Original Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce became a category-defining success, helping establish the market for fruited savory sauces.
For more than four decades, Case has championed family values, culinary exploration, and fearless innovation. He expanded the company into major retail, club, foodservice, private label, and co-packing channels while keeping its roots firmly planted in Fredericksburg.
Today, Fischer & Wieser thrives as a multigenerational family business, with Case’s three children helping lead the company into the future. The company distributes specialty food products nationwide and operates the Fischer & Wieser Farmstead, a destination celebrating food, hospitality, and Texas Hill Country culture. The Farmstead includes a retail store, distillery, cooking classes, orchards, a seasonal fruit stand, and unique lodging experiences.
