TITIN (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)

TITIN (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)

Information

When Daniel Danes moved from Spain to the US to pursue an MBA, he was appalled by the selection of olive oils at the grocery store. Although there were dozens of brands, he couldn't find a single one he could actually trust for its source or quality (and at a fair price). Daniel knew what to look for. His great-grandmother Matilda (nicknamed "Titin") started their family olive groves in Jaén, Spain, over a century ago. They harvest olives only during the ideal months of the year - for maximum quality, not quantity. Spanish consumers expect this standard, but it's not widely available in the States.

After graduating, Daniel had a clear vision: to bring his family's tradition and supply chain advantage to the States, and name it after the woman who started it all. Titin is fully traceable to the same set of groves (PGI certified) and proudly details harvest dates on every bottle. This liquid gold comes directly from Spain to Boston - no middlemen, blending, or adulteration. You might find Daniel and his business partner Ben conducting tastings at one of the many New England shops and restaurants carrying Titin — including several on the Michelin Guide.
