ShineFresh Signs Export MOU at Spanish Expo, Accelerating Its Entry into the European Market

ShineFresh, a local company based in Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, has laid the groundwork for expanding into the European market by participating in an international exhibition in Spain and signing a memorandum of understanding with a local company. The City of Sangju announced on the 17th that ShineFresh participated in K-EXPO SPAIN 2026, held from the 12th to the 13th at the MEEU Exhibition Center in Madrid, Spain, where the company showcased the competitiveness of processed food products made with Sangju’s local agricultural specialties. In particular, during the exhibition, ShineFresh signed a business agreement with a Spanish company, securing a foundation for expanding exports to Europe. The two parties plan to cooperate with the goal of entering Spanish department stores and premium dining distribution channels. They are also reviewing opportunities for product development using organic olive products and balsamic vinegar, as well as local promotional activities and entry into restaurants and premium food stores. The City of Sangju evaluated the agreement as a meaningful example demonstrating the overseas market potential of high-value processed food products made from local agricultural produce.
