Sequatchie Cove Creamery

Sequatchie Cove Creamery

Information

Sequatchie Cove Creamery is nestled at the edge of a forested mountainside, surrounded by waterfalls, springs, and caves. They've been sharing their connection to the Sequatchie Valley in Tennessee through their farmstead-proven, Savoie-inspired, community-celebrated cheeses since 2010.

Cheeses produced include Walden, 7oz soft-ripened with a flavor profile of cultured butter, walnut and shiitake mushroom; Cumberland, raw cow's milk Tomme-style, buttery and earthy yet mild and delicate; Coppinger, raw cow's milk, very flavorful semi-firm washed rind style, with a nice balance of salt, pungency and fruity notes, and Shakerag Blue, wrapped in local fig leaves that have been marinated in Chattanooga Whiskey which impart aroma and flavor to the cheese and seal in moisture. All produced with local Tennessee cow's milk.
