They became involved with Slowfood Italy and the Gamero Rosso programs of indigenously based food and wine exploration while receiving Sommelier diplomas from the Associazione Italian Sommelier in Rome. By 2004 Ilyse and Ron received Master of Olive Oil Certifications from Slow Food Italy in Trevi, Umbria while expanding RITROVO’s product line.
