TORRONCINI Our most iconic product! Not everyone knows that the classic 'torroncini' are actually an invention of Cavalier Condorelli. In the 1960s, in fact, the young master pastry chef Francesco Condorelli had the idea of transforming the typical sweet for great occasions, the classic crunchy nougat, so hard and difficult to cut, into something more practical and completely new, which was also easy to distribute. This is how was born the single-portion soft nougat as we know it today. An irresistible sweet, characterised by a mellow dried fruit filling and a coating of crunchy chocolate icing. The entire process, from roasting the almonds and pistachios to bagging, is carried out in our Belpasso workshop. The machines that produce it and the recipes have been the same for over 50 years!
