MoleCola is the first 100% Italian cola that has been developed in Turin, northwest of Italy, to meet the need to have an all-Italian product made with exclusively Italian sourced ingredients and environmental friendly. Born in 2013 from a traditional recipe, today is the alternative cola coming from the Belpaese and conquering the world, with more than 30 countries reached. MoleCola is named after the city’s landmark 550 feet high “Mole Antonelliana” and the renewed glass design won in 2019 the International Design Awards (IDA) in Los Angeles, recalling the authentic italian style and taste. Indeed, is characterized by the elegant shape of the bottle inspired by Italian Divas of the 1950s and the classy art of tailormade, playing with curves and handcrafted fabric. Italianness from the idea to the taste. Trends are clear: MoleCola is the soft drink for environmentally and socially conscious consumers who tend to promote companies adopting best practices. MoleCola is also a fair product as since many years support a project from the Renken non-profit association to help children in a community in Senegal, where two hectares of land have been planted with kola trees for the nuts purchased to make the drink. The aim of MoleCola is to collaborate with Italian companies and producers that share the same values: aromas are expertly extracted and selected by an historical flavour house close to Florence founded in 1928, the sugar comes exclusively from cultures adhering to a cooperative of 5700 producers on the territory. Moreover, in the glass version MoleCola is only made with spring natural water from the Piedmont Maritime Alps. MoleCola is certified by Italcheck, a non-profit organization for the preservation of Made in Italy. The new motto of the company becomes “Italiana Vera”: the food service and retail can now relay on two premium products, Senza Zucchero, sugarfree with no aspartame, and Classica, regular, available in 330 ml glass or can. Since the beginning this project felt the desire to be part of the ecological transition: the choice in 2019 was to avoid plastic bottles and starting from 2023 the company will use exclusively recycled glass at 85%, taking day by day a step forward in the path of sustainability. In 2022 the business has reached more than 5 million pieces produced, raising year by year, going on to internationalize and bring the Italian heart, freshness and style all around the world.
